Math Olympiad Club Grades 3-5

In this course, students will be exposed to an array of challenging math scenarios with international connections, which will extend their critical thinking skills. Students will attend daily math sessions and work collaboratively with their peers, with the assistance of a teacher. Math competitions can be difficult and these sessions are designed to prepare participants for these challenges. These sessions will allow students to practice Math Olympiad style questions, including mental math (calculation speed), PEMDAS (order of operations) and word problems.

Course Instructor: Jason Hollis

Pre-Requisite: This class is for students with exceptional ability and interest in mathematics. Students must be able to work and follow directions independently.
