Everyday Science/Science, Science Everywhere! Grades 3-5

Have you ever wondered about all the science that surrounds us in our own homes? This course encompasses an integration of the sciences: Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. Students will engage in experimentations that can be done using household chemicals, and explore the chemical reactions behind them. This 3-week course will also provide opportunities for hands-on learning by constructing models as they develop their understanding of the digestive, respiratory and circulatory systemic processes, while also diving into the concepts of electricity and Newton’s Laws.

Course Instructor: Geneviv Magtot

Pre-Requisite: This class is for students with a passion and high interest in science. Students must be able to work and follow directions independently.
